• Mr. Schmidt passed out pictures taken July 31, 201�of a brush pile on the rear of <br /> the City Hall property. <br /> • Mr. Schmidt passed out pictures taken July 31, 2oi�of the Field of Dreams <br /> designated park indicating need for mowing and weeds. <br /> • City Hall paint is an eyesore. <br /> • There are dead trees on the Pfeiffer property. <br /> • He wondered why the rules apply to some people and not to the City. <br /> • The complaints should not be anonymous. <br /> When asked by the Planning Commission what he expected from them, Mr. Schmidt <br /> stated he wants the brush pile removed, mow the Field of Dreams Park and mow the <br /> City lot in the Industrial Park. <br /> The Planning Commission pointed out this body has no authority to get those things <br /> done. The information would be passed on to the City Council. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> a.Wallace Schoeb, U-Haul Rental discussion <br /> This item will be placed on the September Planning Commission Agenda. <br /> b.Tate Neumann,Applicant <br /> Applicant Requests a Metes and Bounds Subdivision <br /> Mr. Burslie e�lained the Staff Report. Mr. Neumann was not present. <br /> A motion was made by Planning Commission Member Habein, seconded by <br /> Planning Commission Member Wallin, to approve the Metes and Bounds <br /> Subdivision based on the following Findings of Fact: <br /> 1. The subject properry is zoned Rural Residential. <br /> 2. The lot widths of the proposed parcels both meet the minimum standard of 200 <br /> feet. <br /> 3. Both of the proposed parcels meet the minimum area requirements of the Rural <br /> Residential zone. <br /> 4. The subject property is vacant. <br /> 5. The subject property is not adjacent to municipal water and wastewater utilities. <br /> 6. The property is suitable in its natural state for the intended purpose and this lot <br /> split would not be harmful to the health, safety,or welfare of future residents or of <br /> the community. <br /> �. The applicant is not proposing any provisions for water-based recreation. <br /> 8. The proposed lot layout meets the requirements of the ordinance. <br /> 9.
