MONTHLY STAFF REPORT �. City Clerk's Office November, 2011 City Council Meeting November 1, 2011, Regular Meeting • Proclaimed November 10'h as Pequot Lakes Bobber Day • Contributed $500 toward relighting of the Bobber Water Tower • Renewed BLAEDC 2012 contract • Entered into a contract with Jenkins Township for police service • Entered into a contract with the City of Jenkins for police service • Authorized purchase of six tactical rifles and gun locks • Approved revised police school liaison agreement • Reviewed a draft ten -year road plan • Authorized WSN to do to required survey work for Government Drive project • Authorized WSN to revise the existing Government Drive study • Certified delinquent utility charges to taxes • Adopted a resolution establishing fund balance reporting according to GASB 54 • Amended the City's Accounting and Reporting Policy • Appointed Dena Doughty to the Park Commission • Accepted quote from Music General for a camera to video tape city meetings • Authorized City to upgrade its website • Designated $5,944 as capital outlay carryover funds • Accepted EDC's recommendation regarding TIF 1 -9 • Adopted resolution declaring Resolutions 9 -32 and 9 -33 null and void • Called a public hearing to consider an ordinance amendment to reduce the number of Planning Commission members November 22, 2011 Special Council Meeting • Special Council meeting to discuss the proposed levy Park Commission — November 10, 2011 • Park Commission Meeting was canceled. The Cable Commission is in the process of renewing the Franchise with Charter Communications.
