Notify the City Clerk within five (5) business days of the cellular service being <br /> disconnected <br /> 6. Limit personal calls, incoming and outgoing, during work hours so as not to <br /> interFere with City business or the performance of the employee's job. <br /> 7. Purchase, replace, or repair cellular phone device. <br /> 19.1.3 Other Employee Responsibilities <br /> City employees required to use their cellular telephones for City business must: <br /> 1. Keep their cell phones turned on during their designated working and on-call <br /> hours to assure they can be reached. <br /> 2. Retrieve messages on voice mail if telephone calls are missed on the cell phone. <br /> 3. Ensure cell phone use does not provide a distraction to the employee or others <br /> during work hours (this includes setting the cell phone to a silent alert mode <br /> during meetings and other times that an interruption is undesirable). <br /> 4. Provide adequate security for the phone to prevent unauthorized users from <br /> finding client/work-related telephone numbers stored in the cell phone memory. It <br /> is recommended that confidential or non-published numbers not be stored in <br /> speed-dial function of the cell phone. <br /> 5. Comply with all other City policies, including storing and transferring data that is <br /> "government data" <br /> 19.1.4 Use while Driving <br /> Use of a personal mobile device while driving is restricted to the vehicle parked in a safe <br /> location and during employee breaks.Text messaging or internet usage while driving is <br /> prohibited. These restrictions do not apply to public safety employees if necessary to <br /> perForm their duties and responsibilities. Failure to follow this policy may result in <br /> disciplinary action up to and including termination. <br /> 19.1.5 Procedures <br /> It is the objective of the City to prevent and correct any abuse or misuse of cellular <br /> 62 <br />
