MAYOR MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. , 9.3. Consider Renewal of Jenkins Police Contract Janet Wedan presented the Jenkins Police Contract for 2008. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 07-29 LAW ENFORCEMENT CONTRACT AND JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF JENKINS. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 9.4. Snowmobil e Program � � Officer Josh Gartner presented a proposal for a snowmobile program. Officer Gartner noted that this would be a joint program with the DNR Snowmobile Enforcement Division. He informed the Council that there is funding available for this program through the State of Minnesota and indicated that the program should not impact the budget. COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO APPROVE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A SNOWMOBILE POLICE PATROL PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 10. City Clerk's Report Report by Clerk Peine. 10.1. Request bv Minnesota Fishinq Museum to Sell Pull Tabs at Speedstop in Peauot Lakes The Clerk noted that the Minnesota Fishing Museum is requesting Premises Permit to sell pull tabs at the Speedstop in Pequot Lakes. She indicated that pull tab proceeds would be used to fund the Fishing Museum in Little Falls.
