Consider Renewal of Jenkins Police Contract <br /> Janet Wedan presented the Jenkins Police Contract for 2008. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION <br /> 07-29 LAW ENFORCEMENT CONTRACT AND JOINT POWERS <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF JENKINS. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 9.4. Snowmobil <br /> e Program � <br /> � Officer Josh Gartner presented a proposal for a snowmobile program. <br /> Officer Gartner noted that this would be a joint program with the DNR <br /> Snowmobile Enforcement Division. He informed the Council that there is <br /> funding available for this program through the State of Minnesota and <br /> indicated that the program should not impact the budget. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER ORASKOVICH MOVED TO APPROVE THE <br /> IMPLEMENTATION OF A SNOWMOBILE POLICE PATROL PROGRAM <br /> FOR THE CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES. COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 10. City Clerk's Report <br /> Report by Clerk Peine. <br /> 10.1. Request bv Minnesota Fishinq Museum to Sell Pull Tabs at Speedstop in <br /> Peauot Lakes <br /> The Clerk noted that the Minnesota Fishing Museum is requesting <br /> Premises Permit to sell pull tabs at the Speedstop in Pequot Lakes. She <br /> indicated that pull tab proceeds would be used to fund the Fishing <br /> Museum in Little Falls.
