City Council Minutes February 6, 2007 Page 8 of 9 -------------------------- �-.- Mike Rude reviewed the engineer's proposal for the Inland Trails Road and Gravdahl Drive improvements at a cost of$33,000. He indicated that the proposal calls for $15,000 for survey costs on Inland Trails Road. After discussing this with the Maintenance Supervisor and the Street Department Liaison, this fee will be eliminated. Mike Loven noted that the total cost for engineering services to design the two projects excluding the survey cost for Inland Trails is $18,000. Mike Loven proposed using some of the remaining funds from the 2006 Streets Capital Outlay budget. MAYOR PRO-TEM SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE THE PROPOSAL FROM WSN FOR THE INLAND TRAILS ROAD AND GRAVDAHL DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $18,000 WITH THE $18,000 TO BE FUNDED FROM THE 2006 STREETS CAPITAL OUTLAY BUDGET. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. 12. City Engineer �., Discussion was held regarding the storm water drainage fee charged to the land owners is the core city limits of Pequot Lakes. The Council discussed the possibility of charging all land owners including those in the old Sibley Township. It was the consensus of the Council to put this item on the April Council agenda. 13. Other Business Council Member Nagel questioned whether the City has ever funded the First Responders. The Clerk noted that the Council considered a request from the first responders at its 2007 budget hearings. The Council requested more information about the program. The Clerk noted that she would contact the First Responders and invite them to a Council meeting. 14. Adjournment There being no further business, COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO ADJOURN. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. The meeting of the City Council adjourned at 9:00 p.m. �.-
