Bruce Galles informed the Commission that the 2017 scholarship recipients ients are Samantha
Littman for$2,000, Molly Doty for$1,500, Mackenzie Chiodi for$1,500, Mykaia
Griffin for$1,500, and Hannah Wiedewitsch for$1,500.
Bob Olson noted that several scholarship applicants resided outside the franchise service
area and were disqualified.
Bruce Galles stated that in the future he will send a map to the Pequot Lakes High School
and Central Lakes College so these entities can determine if applicants qualify before the
applications are sent to the scholarship committee. Mr. Galles noted that any changes to
the scholarship application should be sent to him.
MOTION BY ROBERT SMITH SECONDED BY GARY MITCHELL TO
CONTINUE OFFERING ONE $2,000 SCHOLARSHIP AND FOUR$1,500
SCHOLARSHIPS IN 2018. Robert Smith noted
that he has e-mail issues as well.
2018 Franchise Fees
