SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PEQUOT LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br /> TUESDAY, JUNE 6, 2017 <br /> PEQUOT LAKES CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Mayor Adams, Council Members Akerson and Swanson <br /> Members Absent: Council Members Loukota and Pederson <br /> Staff Present: Nancy Malecha, City Administrator/Clerk; Deb Marty, Deputy <br /> City Clerk; Dawn Bittner, Zoning Specialist; Eric Klang, <br /> Police Chief; and Robert Scott, City Attorney <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Mayor Adams called the Special Meeting of the Pequot Lakes City Council <br /> to order at 5:29 p.m. <br /> 1.1. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Mayor Adams led with the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> There were no changes to the agenda. <br /> 3. Hearings to Consider Adopting Public Nuisance Orders <br /> City Attorney Robert Scott outlined the order of procedure for the Council. <br /> 3.A. 31051 Pine Street <br /> Mayor Adams opened the public hearing. <br /> Dawn Bittner informed the Council of the notices given to Robert and <br /> Kimberly Swenson at 31051 Pine Street and highlighted the code <br /> violations and nuisance conditions on the property. Ms. Bittner stated that <br /> numerous complaints have been received regarding the violations that <br /> exist on this property and acknowledged Mr. and Mrs. Swenson on the <br /> work they have completed thus far to clean up the property. <br /> Kimberly Swenson addressed the Council. Ms. Swenson noted the <br /> propane tank is an operable propane tank and the property was mowed <br /> after the pictures were taken. <br />
