MOTION CARRIED 4-1. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON OPPOSED. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br /> SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE 17-06. COUNCIL <br /> MEMBER SWANSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5-0. <br /> 6.5. Waive Permit Fee <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO WAIVE THE $50 PERMIT <br /> EXTENSION FEE FOR LAKES AREA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 7. Fire <br /> The March/April 2017 Fire Department Operations Report was received by <br /> Council. <br /> 8. Police <br /> 9. Public Works <br /> 9.1. Limited Use Permit <br /> Nancy Malecha informed the Council that Jeff Kreitz continues to <br /> construct the City's two community identifier signs that will be placed <br /> along the Highway 371 expressway. In order to place these signs within <br /> MnDOT right-of-way, the Council needs to approve a resolution and <br /> limited use permit. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 17- <br /> 14 APPROVING A STATE OF MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF <br /> TRANSPORTATION LIMITED USE PERMIT FOR MUNICIPAL <br /> ENTRANCE SIGNS. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9.2. Storm Water Study Proposal <br /> Tim Houle noted that at the April 4th City Council Meeting, the consensus <br /> of the Council authorized Widseth Smith Nolting to prepare a storm water <br /> study proposal for the Downtown SE Street Quadrant. This study will <br /> provide a plan to tackle storm water needs on a street by street basis <br />
