May 16/2017 <br /> Pequot Lakes Housing & Redevelopment Authority <br /> Commissioners present: Robert Ritter, Bob Peterson, Tammy Lanning, Clara Nelson <br /> Also present: Executive Director-Barb Carlson, Carrie Elling, Brad Moser <br /> *Call Regular Meeting to Order <br /> 5:16 Chairman Ritter called the meeting to order. <br /> *Consider Agenda/Changes <br /> No Changes <br /> *Consent Agenda/Regular Meeting <br /> Motion to accept the Minutes, Payment of the Bills and Financials. <br /> Moved by Nelson, Seconded by Peterson,All Ayes; Motion carried <br /> *West Grove <br /> Director Carlson informed the Board that the vacant unit has been rented and that we received a 60-day <br /> Notice to Vacate for another unit. <br /> . *Sibley Terrace <br /> No Business <br /> . *ParkView <br /> Director Carlson informed the Board that her computer has been down for over a week. Carlson also <br /> explained that Rural Development was out for an Inspection of Alpine and Parkview I & II. Moser <br /> let the Board know that the Inspector found a couple minor issues in the Mechanical Room and they have <br /> been taken care of. Carlson let the Board know that the Rural Development Loan will be paid off soon <br /> and that a Home Loan from MHFA could be following. There was discussion regarding the No Smoking <br /> Policy. It was decided to keep the policy the same for now as there are no immediate complaints. The <br /> Board will discuss at a later date, if needed. <br /> *Alpine <br /> Executive Director informed the Board that the Rural Development Inspection went well.No major <br /> issues were found. <br /> *Executive Director's Report <br /> Carlson let the Board know that she will be attending the NAHRO Conference on May 25th and 2661. <br /> There was discussion about Parkview I Tenants that moved in before October of 2014 having access to <br /> Sibley Terrace by using a Fob that was issued to them. It was decided that they should not have access <br /> to any other buildings and a letter will be sent to those residents letting them know their Fob will be <br /> deactivated immediately for Sibley Terrace. <br /> Motion to no longer allow Parkview I Residents have access to Sibley Terrace Apartments. <br /> Moved by Peterson, Seconded by Nelson,All Ayes; Motion carried <br /> Director Carlson informed the Board about a Tenant having concerns that maintenance entered her <br /> unit without permission in order to perform repairs that were called in by the tenant. After discussion <br /> it was agreed that a called in work order is the permission to enter the unit, unless otherwise specified by <br /> the tenant. <br /> *Maintenance Engineer's Report <br /> Moser informed the Board about a leak at a Parkview which ended up being a pin hole in the side of <br /> an elbow in one of the units. There was also a short discussion regarding the expense of new locks installed <br /> at a West Grove unit. <br /> *Other Business <br /> None <br /> *Open Forum <br /> No Business <br /> *Adjournment <br /> 5:55p.m. meeting adjourned. <br /> Moved by Peterson, Seconded by Lanning,All Ayes; Motion carried. <br /> Chrm.
