Derksen VIA PERSONAL SERVICE <br /> 31116 Ash Street <br /> Pequot Lakes, MN 56472 <br /> Re: NOTICE — IMMEDIATE CORRECTIVE ACTION REQUIRED <br /> City Ordinance Violations at 31116 Ash Street,Pequot Lakes,MN 56472 <br /> Dear Mr. and Mrs. Derksen: <br /> I am writing in my capacity as Zoning Specialist for the City of Pequot Lakes (the"City"). <br /> You have knowingly maintained conditions on your above-referenced property located <br /> at 31116 Ash Street(the"Property")that violate the City's Code of Ordinances (the"City <br /> Code") and which constitute a public nuisance. Specifically,you have allowed garbage, <br /> junk,construction materials,brush/branches, furniture, abandoned vehicles,tires and <br /> other debris to accumulate in plain site on the Property and maintained a recreational <br /> vehicle within ten feet of your lot line in violation of the City's Code of Ordinances and <br /> nuisance regulations (the"City Code"). Further,you have failed to remedy such <br /> conditions despite receiving numerous written and verbal notices of violation from the <br /> City,including letters to you from the City's Attorney dated August 11, 2014 and from <br /> me dated June 5, 2014,July 3, 2014,April 14, 2015,April 28, 2016, May 10, 2016 and <br /> June 21, 2106. <br /> This letter is intended to provide you notice of the City Code violations and nuisance <br /> conditions that continue on your Property and the corrective action that is necessary for <br /> you to avoid additional legal action against you. <br /> 1 <br />
