SUBCOMMITTEE. COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED THE <br /> MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> Mayor Adams reviewed a map of the City Hall property with the Council as a <br /> potential location for the skateboard park. She noted that the Subcommittee <br /> is also considering the southwest portion of Trailside Park. <br /> Council Member Pederson requested that the Subcommittee and Park <br /> Commission bring forth other locations for consideration other than the City <br /> Hall property. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO DIRECT THE SKATEBOARD <br /> PARK SUBCOMMITTEE AND THE PARK COMMISSION TO WORK WITH <br /> THE CITY PLANNER TO DETERMINE POTENTIAL LOCATIONS FOR <br /> THE SKATEBOARD PARK AND BRING FORTH RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> TO THE CITY COUNCIL. COUNCIL MEMBER SWANSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> An excerpt from the April 4 Council Meeting are included: <br /> 6. Planning and Zoning <br /> 6.1. Ordinance Amendment <br /> Dawn Bittner informed the Council that the purpose for this amendment is to <br /> allow for a more efficient and streamlined court process to enforce <br /> abatement orders and to make property owners responsible for attorneys' <br /> fees and court costs incurred by the City during the enforcement process. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO AMEND CHAPTER 7 — <br /> GENERAL OFFENSES, ARTICLE 2 RELATING TO THE ABATEMENT OF <br /> PUBLIC NUISANCES. COUNCIL MEMBER PEDERSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-1. COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON <br /> OPPOSED. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA MOVED TO AUTHORIZE THE <br /> SUMMARY PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE 17-03. COUNCIL MEMBER <br /> PEDERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-1. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON OPPOSED. <br /> 9.3. Street Quadrant Update <br /> Tim Houle informed the Council that WSN provided rough costs for the <br /> southeast downtown street quadrant the Council discussed at their special <br /> meeting on February 21St. Mr. Houle noted these are per foot costs do not <br /> include potential land acquisitions that may be needed for right-of-way or <br /> April 20, 2017 Staff Report Page 6 <br />
