City of <br /> AGENDA ITEM #9.1 <br /> Pequot €ei)Lakes <br /> REPORT TO <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Report Prepared by: Nancy Malecha <br /> Date: April 4, 2017 <br /> Subject: Jurisdictional Transfer Agreement — <br /> Environmental Site Assessment Obligation <br /> Report: Per the Jurisdictional Transfer Agreement <br /> between Crow Wing County and the City of Pequot Lakes <br /> for segments of CSAH 11, CR 112, and State Highway <br /> 371, the County was to perform a Phase I Environmental <br /> Site Assessment (ESA) to identify recognized <br /> environmental conditions for these roadway segments, <br /> including adjacent properties. Any recognized <br /> environmental conditions would then have a Phase II ESA <br /> conducted to determine if contamination was present with <br /> the roadway segments. <br /> The County hired Widseth Smith Nolting to perform Phase <br /> I of the ESA where 22 sites were identified. For the <br /> purpose of Phase II, the assessment area was defined and <br /> 10 sites were selected for further assessment. Fieldwork <br />
