Open Forum <br /> No one appeared under open forum. <br /> 5. Presentations <br /> No presentations were received. <br /> 6. Planning and Zoning <br /> 6.1. Planning Commission Report <br /> The February 1, 2017 Planning Commission Report and January 19, 2017 <br /> draft Planning Commission Meeting minutes were received by Council. <br /> 7. Fire <br /> The December 2016 and January 2017 Fire Department Operation <br /> Reports, 2016 Fire Department Year End Report, and January 25, 2017 <br /> Fire Board Meeting minutes were received by Council. <br /> 7.1. 2017A G.O. Equipment Certificate Resolution <br /> Nancy Malecha informed the Council that previous authorization was <br /> received for the purchase and financing of air packs for the Fire <br /> Department. She noted to finalize the financing portion a resolution needs <br /> to be adopted for the issuance and sale of a $135,000 General Obligation <br /> Equipment Certificate, Series 2017A to First National Bank North of <br /> Pequot Lakes. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON MOVED TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 17- <br /> 06 PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF A $135,000 <br /> GENERAL OBLIGATION EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATE, SERIES 2017A. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER LOUKOTA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br /> CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 7.2. Firefighter Resignation <br /> Nancy Malecha informed the Council that Ian Ulrich submitted his <br /> resignation from the Pequot Lakes Fire Department after three years of <br /> service. <br />
