• We need to see how traffic patterns change and how people use the streets to <br /> grasp the needed improvements; <br /> • Sidewalks in this area should be one sidewalk per street minimum; as traffic <br /> patterns are determined there may be a need for both sides of the street; <br /> • A walking loop could be created by establishing a path/sidewalk down Old <br /> Highway 371,turning at Rae Avenue and accessing the Paul Bunyan Trail going <br /> north to Main Street; <br /> • Explore the possibility of constructing low maintenance (e.g. class 5)trails in <br /> areas that are not heavily trafficked; <br /> • Street lights should be used on the main streets and one block off; <br /> • The same street lights should be used throughout the Downtown Mixed Use <br /> Zone. <br /> 2 <br />
