COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE <br />MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />The Mayor called for the vote on the motion that was just removed from <br />the table. <br />THE MOTION CARRIED 5 -0. <br />9.213. Consider Advertising for the Position of Water/Wastewater Position <br />Mike Loven explained that the Committee is recommending postponing <br />advertising for the position at least until the Job Evaluation Committee can <br />thoroughly review the job points, pay scale, and outside equity. He also <br />noted that things are working well with Pine River Area Sanitary District. <br />It was the consensus of the Council to not advertise for the position at this <br />time. The Council requested Mike Loven to assess and evaluate the <br />situation while contracting with PRASD and then review with the Council <br />at a later date. <br />10. Maintenance Department Monthly Report <br />Nothing to report. <br />10.1A. Appointment of Public Works Supervisor <br />The Clerk noted that the Job Evaluation Committee reviewed the Public <br />Works Supervisor job description and job points. She stated that the job <br />description was reviewed in December, 2010, therefore, the Committee <br />did not feel it was necessary to review the job description at this time. The <br />Clerk stated that if Mike Loven is appointed as the Public Works <br />Supervisor, the Committee is recommending that the change become <br />effective July 11, 2011, at Step 10 of the pay scale ($25.66). <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPOINT MIKE LOVEN AS <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR EFFECTIVE JULY 11, 2011 AT <br />STEP 10 OF THE PAY SCALE ($25.66 PER HOUR). COUNCIL <br />MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5- <br />�.. 0. <br />
