May 17, 2011 Minutes <br />Housing & Redevelopment Authority <br />Commissioners present: Trudy Jurchen, Lorraine Youngberg, Laura Hofius <br />Also present: Assistant Director Anderson, Mayor Adams <br />Tenants: P. Hoskins, J. Hoskins, D. Botham, B. Pearson, P. Fortin, M. Smedberg, D. Rager, B. Bistodeau <br />Property Tour held at 4:15 before meeting. Board Member Jurchen & Assistant Director Anderson were in <br />attendance. Thoughts, plans & options were discussed. An additional meeting can be arranged if needed to <br />accommodate the others. <br />Call Meeting to Order 5:17 p.m. Secretary Hofius called to order the meeting of the Housing Authority. <br />Consider Agenda & Bills <br />Consent Agenda/Regular Meeting approved Minutes & Payment of bills <br />Moved by Jurchen, seconded by Youngberg. All ayes; motion carried. <br />West Grove <br />No Business <br />Sibley Terrace <br />No Business <br />Parkview <br />No Business <br />alpine <br />` ,To Business <br />Executive Director's Report <br />Spring cleaning has been done by our regular contractor. <br />We are working on getting a bench & picnic table at the playground area of ParkView II. <br />The window cleaning company has been contacted and we are on their schedule. Tenants from Sibley pay a <br />small fee to have their personal apartment windows done. We are checking to see if the tenants at Parkview I <br />want to do the same. <br />Maintenance Engineer's Report <br />Boiler Heat Regulating: This is mid - season and it is hard to regulate for cool nights & warm days. We ask the <br />tenants to please be patient. <br />Other Business <br />Open Forum <br />*Questions by Sibley Terrace Tenants regarding the next batch of new kitchens. They were under the <br />impression there would be several done each year. It was pointed out that we have missed 2010 and are now <br />almost half way through 2011. It is likely to be put on the 2012 list. Priorities were mentioned. <br />*Mayor Adams discussed the new Police Chief position that was accepted by our former Sheriff Eric Klang. <br />There are some details to finalize and he should be starting in about 1 %2 months. <br />*There was also the talk of the survey forms for Government Drive. They will be delivered to Sibley for <br />tenants to fill out. <br />*The donated ficus tree has be transported to the Library. Thanks to everyone & especially ParkView I. <br />*There was discussion of the want, need, and usage of Round - abouts. <br />�'It was noted that the trees down along 371 are to make room for the center turn lane that is being added. <br />Adjournment 5:40 p.m. Moved by Jurchen, seconded by Youngberg.
