`.. <br />Economic Development Commission Minutes <br />May 17, 2011 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />Tommy explained that the reason for looking at the potential of subdividing these lots <br />is to induce growth, increase the tax base, and get the best return out of the <br />infrastructure in the ground. <br />Discussion was held about the water and sewer capacity. The question was asked <br />whether there would be enough capacity if there were an en extra 80 users in the <br />downtown and 30 users in industrial park. The question was asked whether the <br />WAC and SAC fees will cover the cost of an expansion. <br />Sheila Haverkamp stated that the City should treat <br />this committee is in agreement, then the EDC sho <br />what the industrial park could look like if the 1 <br />EDC members visit the property owners an if <br />their land. <br />as an asset.
