Water Dept. Continued <br />• May 27th, spoke with a couple people interested in the property at 31222 Pine Street. <br />They would like to know if they're required to hook -up to City water, or if they can use <br />the existing well. I told them I would have to look into our regulations and get back to <br />them. <br />• May 31 St, Tom's Backhoe replaced four difficult/leaking water shut -offs. Work was <br />done at: 31222 Pine Street, 31074 Spruce Street, 3844 West Grove Street and 31181 <br />Co. Rd. 112. <br />Wastewater Dept. <br />I. Facility Performance: <br />a. CBOD Concentration <br />Influent — 367 mg/1 (No Design Listed) <br />Effluent — mg/1 <br />b. TSS Concentration <br />Influent — 268 mg/1 (No Design Listed) <br />Effluent — mg/1 <br />c. Effluent Fecal Coliform — 10 <br />Permit Condition — 200 organisms /100 ml <br />d. Flow - Average Daily Flow — 56,000 gallons (Design — 121,795 gal/day) <br />Maximum Daily Flow — 99,000 gallons <br />Minimum Daily Flow — 39,000 gallons <br />Total Monthly Flow — 1,723,000 gallons <br />II. Operations and Maintenance: <br />• The monthly MPCA Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) was completed and <br />submitted. <br />• May 16th, started irrigators for the first time this season. East irrigator needs some work <br />done. Will need to replace old valve and the pipe that's at the base of the irrigator. <br />• May 17th, attended EDC meeting. I've gathered information on our wastewater <br />treatment plant flows from 2010 and I am working on collecting information from the <br />past 5 years, and checking into the direction of our WWTP Facility Plan. Spoke with <br />Tim Houle about what was discussed at the meeting and he gave me some very helpful <br />advice and guidance. <br />• May 23`d, collected pond sample for monthly CBOD and TSS, and mailed to lab. <br />• May 24th, MN Valley replaced the valve and pipe on east irrigator. Still need to do the <br />electrical work. <br />• May 27th, locator met me at 4688 Morehouse Drive to see about locating our sewer <br />force -main that runs from the main lift - station to our WWTP. He couldn't pick up any <br />signals from tracer wire so he "witched" the line. I spoke with Stonemark Land <br />Surveying to see if they can provide more accurate measurements for us and they will <br />�- be getting back to me. The owner would like to construct another building and needs to <br />keep away from our utility easement. <br />• May 3 1St, MN Valley completed the electrical work on east irrigator. <br />
