WEB SITE The Deputy City Clerk has updated the City's web site. There is information on the site regarding all departments of the City. Please take some time to look at the site. If you have any suggestions, please give Nancy or me a call. www.peguotlakes-mn.g_ov_ ELECTION The Primary Election ran very smooth with no incidents. Although there were only 177 voters, this election is a very good trial for the General Election. The City of Pequot Lakes has 1,246 registered voters. The General Election normally has a much higher voter turnout than the Primary Election. We did not receive any complaints about using the Cole Memorial Building for the election. It worked out well for the judges. The Deputy City Clerk was stationed at City Hall during voting hours to answer phones and to direct people who stopped at City Hall to vote to the Cole Memorial Building. For the General Election, we will be having an area for the "Kids Voting"program. This area will be set up similar to a regular election and allow kids to vote while their parents are voting.
