The rezoning issues
for items 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3 were reviewed by Council.
COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL MOVED TO ADOPT ORDINANCE 06-13
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP. COUNCIL MEMBER
PFEIFFER SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
Ms. Watt's legal counsel was present to represent her in her absence. The
counselor indicated that Ms. Watt will be making a request to rezone the
property to commercial in the near future and did not feel it was
appropriate to consider the request to rezone to rural residential at this
time. He further noted that Ms. Watt has been ill and unable to deal with
the situation at this time.
Planning Commission Chair indicated that the Planning Commission has
recommended that the property be rezoned to rural residential based on
several findings of fact to support the decision.
