PAYMENT OF BILLS <br /> Council Member Pfeiffer had some questions regarding payment of <br /> bills. <br /> COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO APPROVE <br /> PAYMENT OF THE BILLS. COUNCIL MEMBER NAGEL <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 7-0. <br /> 4. Open Forum <br /> No one appeared for open forum. <br /> 5. Board/Commission/Consultant Updates <br /> 5.1. Region 5 Update <br /> Cheryl Hills updated the Council on Region 5 issues. <br /> 5.2. Smokey Hollow Fish House <br /> The City Clerk informed the Council that the City has received one <br /> proposal to rent the structure on the property. The proposal is from a <br /> phone company for$450 per month. The Clerk also informed the Council <br /> that the Park Board voted unanimously to keep the land as park land for <br /> public use. <br /> MAYOR MALECHA MOVED TO GIVE THE PROPERTY TO THE PARK <br /> BOARD. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br /> Mayor Malecha indicated that the building was in very poor condition and <br /> questioned if it was suitable for renting. Council Member Pfeiffer stated <br /> she was in favor of renting the property. Council Member Sjoblad stated <br /> he was in favor of removing the building and using the land for park. <br /> Council Member Ryan stated that the property is not valuable park land <br /> and he was in favor of renting the building. <br />
