MINUTES PEQUOT LAKES PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 15, 2005 PRESENT: Bill Habein, Tom Adams, Tom Woog, Mark Hallan, Roger Varilek, and Scott Pederson. ABSENT: Dean Williams and John Derksen. CITY PLANNER: Charles Marohn, PE and Lisa Barajas. ZONING ADMINISTRATOR: Dawn Bittner COUNCIL LIAISONS: Craig Nagel and Cathy Malecha. The meeting was called to order by Tom Woog, Commission Chair, at 6: 31 p.m. WILDERNESS POINT DEVELOPMENT: Jeff Miller, WSN, was present representing the developer. Mr. Miller passed out a packet of maps. Conditional Use Permit conditions: 1. Erosion control map — the shaded area will be temporarily seeded. Crow Wing County SWCD has inspected and found no problems. All items for the first phase have been completed. 2. Association Documents — the documents are being prepared and will have for the next meeting. A copy will be given to the City Attorney prior to the next meeting. 3. Sewer Design — Tim Houle, City Engineer, had submitted a letter that he has looked over Phase I and approved. Sewer and water is designed to be separate for each area and sized per Chapter 7080. The NPDES and SDS permits will be submitted next month. The existing drainfield has not been modified. Only clearing and grubbing have been done, next would be staking for pad elevation and establish rough grade, water and sewer would be next,then construction. 4. Bond—The bond is necessary for Final Plat. Mr. Miller plans to post bond. 5. #4 & #7 — October meeting plan Preliminary Plat review. November meeting plan to submit Final Plat. APPLICANT: Arlen Sergent Applicant requests to Rezone from Forestry to Agriculture. Parcel#290271402A00009. Applicant has requested in writing to table this public hearing for one month.
