A request for an <br /> assignment, transfer or change of address shall be treated in the same manner as an <br /> application for a new license under the provisions of this Ordinance. <br /> (b) No licensee shall permanently expand its licensed premises or designated serving <br /> area, unless such expansion is approved by the City Council. <br /> Section 29. Licenses not to be issued in certain areas. <br /> No licenses shall be granted to authorize the sale of alcoholic beverages in any <br /> establishment, the main entrance of which is located within 500 feet of the main entrance <br /> of any church or of the grounds of any public school; said distance to be measured by the <br /> shortest route along or across the public way. <br /> Effective Date. This ordinance amendment shall be in full force and effect from and <br /> after passage and publication according to state law. <br /> Repeal.
