City Engineer will: <br /> 1. Ensure that all department personnel have been alerted to the disaster, <br /> and that they report as the situation directs. <br /> 2. Report to the City Emergency Operating Center (EOC) . <br /> 3. Review the disaster situation as it affects the City Engineering <br /> Department, and forward this information to the city emergency <br /> management director. <br /> 4. Coordinate the activities of your department with the other services. <br /> 5. Direct debris removal to permit passage of emergency vehicles. <br /> 6. Assist rescue personnel as needed, in rescuing trapped persons. <br /> 7. Coordinate/direct/assist the restoration of utilities. <br /> 8. If assistance is required, coordinate with the city emergency <br /> management director. <br /> 12 . City Engineer Check List of Tasks <br />
