� <br />February 21, 2011 <br />Mr. Dan Frank <br />Initiative Foundation <br />405 First Street SE <br />Little Falls, MN 56345 <br />Dear Mr. Frank, <br />City of <br />Pequot <br />La1�es � — <br />I am pleased to write this letter in support of the Pequot Lakes Library's <br />application for a grant from Valspar. <br />The Library Board purchased the building two years ago for use as an <br />expanded library. Prior to that, the building was a four-unit retail space built <br />`, in the early 1990's. Unfortunately, during a great majority of that time, the <br />units were empty. The building has now become a City building, under my <br />supervision as Road, Sireets, Buildings and Grounds Supervisor. The only <br />financial support the City provides the building is for heat and electricity; <br />the Library Board must raise any additional funds. <br />Should the library be awaxded this grant, I will work with Pete Clement, <br />Supervisor of the Sentence to Serve group from Crow Wing County. They . <br />helped the Library rnove from their previous building to the current space, <br />and I know they will be more than pleased to help the Library again. <br />Thank you for considering the Library's grant request.
