CITY OF PEQUOT LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION 08-27 <br /> A RESOLUTION VACATING RIGHT-OF-WAY CREATED THROUGH AN <br /> EXTENSION OF HIGH PINE STREET <br /> LOCATED IN PART OF GOVERNMENT LOT 2 AND <br /> PART OF GOVERNMENT LOT 3, <br /> SECTION 36, TOWNSHIP 136,RANGE 29, <br /> CROW WING COUNTY <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pequot Lakes has determined to vacate that portion <br /> of High Pine Street, created through Document No. 692740 as recorded with the Crow Wing <br /> County Recorder, legally described as follows (the "Subject Property" or"Street": <br /> That part of Government Lot 2 and Government Lot 3, Section 36, Township 136 North, <br /> Range 29 West, Crow Wing County, Minnesota, which lies 66.00 feet northerly of and <br /> parallel with the following described line: Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot <br /> 12, METTLER POINT, according to recorded plat thereof, on file in the Crow Wing <br /> County Recorder's office, and assuming the East line of said Lot 12 bears South 04 <br /> degrees 14 minutes 00 seconds East; thence South 76 degrees 14 minutes 00 seconds East <br /> 86.00 feet; thence South 52 degrees 44 minutes 00 seconds East 125.00; thence South 40 <br /> degrees 44 minutes 00 seconds East 173.50 feet and said line there terminating. The <br /> northerly line of said easement shall be prolonged or shortened to terminate on the East <br /> line of High Pine Street as dedicated in said plat of METTLER POINT. <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on September 2, 2008 before the City Council in the City <br /> Hall after due published and posted notice had been given by the City Clerk on August 14, 2008, <br /> including mailed notice to all property owners within the plat of METTLER POINT and <br /> adjoining properties and all interested persons were given an opportunity to be heard at the City <br /> Council meeting; and <br /> 1 <br />
