Park Board Minutes <br /> January 11, 2007 <br /> Page 3 <br /> MOTION MADE BY COMMISSIONER JURCHEN TO ALLOW THE <br /> HISTORICAL SOCIETY TO USE THE GAZEBO ON JULY 4TH <br /> SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER SAMUELSON. MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5-0. <br /> 8. Review Holden Invoice <br /> Discussion was held regarding the extra charges on Holden's invoice. <br /> Mike Loven stated Holden's will be making adjustments to the invoice but <br /> he has not heard back from them yet. <br /> October invoice of $1 ,095.00 did not include taking the lights down. There <br /> were $600 additional charges that there is no explanation for. <br /> Chair Anderson asked Mike Loven to get a firm price from Holden's for the <br /> cost of taking the lights down. <br /> MOTION MADE BY COMMISSIONER KOSLOFSKY TO PAY THE <br /> ADDITIONAL $600.00. COMMISSIONER SAMUELSON SECONDED <br /> THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> 9. Emerald Lawns, Inc. Bid <br /> The Board reviewed Emerald Lawns proposal for the maintenance of the <br /> irrigation system at the City Park. The proposal included: <br /> * Spring Startup $150.00 <br /> * June Checkup $ 98.75 <br /> * July Checkup $ 98.75 <br /> * August Checkup $ 98.75 <br /> * Fall Winterization $149.50 <br /> It was agreed that the Board will get two different bids from someone <br /> locally. <br /> 10. Nisswa Lighting Ceremony — Update by Del <br /> Discussion was held about doing a lighting ceremony in Pequot Lakes. <br /> Concerns were getting Merchants to decorate, which side of town, not <br /> wanting to compete with Nisswa and road issues. <br /> The Board agreed to move the issue of a lighting ceremony to the <br /> February Board meeting. <br />
