Park Board Minutes <br /> June 11, 2009 <br /> Page 2 <br /> whether the City should use a printer or print it in-house. It was decided <br /> that this year would be used as a trial year. Black and white copies would <br /> be printed to hand out at the July 4th parade. The City would print color <br /> copies on a heavier stock of paper and hand out to the resorts and the <br /> Chamber of Commerce. <br /> 5. Summer Bands <br /> Council Member Malecha informed the Park Commission Members that <br /> she has lined up several bands to play in the park during the summer. The <br /> one issue that she is running into is the lack of a stage. Discussion was <br /> held regarding the need for a stage and possibly a band stand. The Park <br /> Commission decided to discuss this at the next Park Board meeting. <br /> 6. Park Garbage Cans <br /> Public Works Supervisor Mike Loven updated the Park Commission on <br /> the purchase of the garbage cans. He noted that the ones purchased were <br /> too big and would have to be exchanged for smaller ones. <br /> 6. Other Business <br /> Chair Tweed had the park signs present. The Commission was very <br /> pleased with the signs. Chair Tweed also noted that she has planted the <br /> flowers in the planters at Bobber Park. <br /> Discussion was held regarding the need for a sign at the Cole Memorial <br /> Building. It was decided that this would be discussed at the next meeting. <br /> 9. Adjournment <br /> There being no further business, COMMISSIONER JOHNSON MOVED <br /> TO ADJOURN THE MEETING. COMMISSIONER DENHARTOG <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 5:15 PM. <br /> Res'ectfully Submitted, <br /> Sandy Pege <br /> City Clerk <br />
