Minn.Stat.§465.76 All cities must pay to defend and indemnify for damages claimed or levied <br /> Minn.Stat.§466.07 against their officers and employees if the damages resulted while the <br /> officer or employee was acting in performance of the duties of his or her <br /> position; and the officer or employee was not guilty of malfeasance,willful <br /> neglect, or bad faith. All cities may reimburse their officers and employees <br /> for legal costs incurred to defend them against criminal charges that arise <br /> out of reasonable and lawful performance of their duties. Certain conditions <br /> must be met before such costs may be paid. The costs may include <br /> reasonable attorney's fees to defend the person against the criminal charges. <br /> W.
