Park Board Minutes <br /> February 10, 2005 <br /> Page 2 <br /> was not visible or near downtown it would not be beneficial to the <br /> downtown retailers. Ron Schaeffer suggested making the existing park <br /> into a park that was more aesthetically pleasing and conducive to events. <br /> Ron and Del decided to see if they could talk to some landscapers and get <br /> a design for the park. Discussion was also held on the gazebo. It was <br /> decided not to do anything with the gazebo until there was a plan for the <br /> park. <br /> The Board talked about the possibility of extending the fence along the <br /> south side of the park to help with the parking. No decision was made <br /> regarding this matter. <br /> Baptist Church <br /> It was suggested that someone contact the Baptist Church to see what <br /> they are offering to the public in regard to their Community Center. <br /> 6. Review Map of City Parks <br /> Mike Loven provided maps of existing city park land. The Board reviewed <br /> the maps. <br /> 7. Priorities for 2005 <br /> It was noted that the 2005 priorities was the park in the center of town. <br /> 8. Other Business <br /> There was no other business. <br /> 14.
