ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF DRAFT FEBRUARY FINANCIAL <br />REPORT. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER AKERSON SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION <br />CARRIED 5-0. <br />4. Oqen Forum <br />No one appeared for open forum. <br />5. Presentations <br />There were no presentations. <br />6. Planninq and Zoninq Department Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />6.1. Plannina Commission Report <br />Report received by Council. No Council action required. <br />Council Member Ryan raised some questions in relation to the proposal to <br />locate the bus garage in the City's Industrial Park. Council Member Ryan <br />questioned where the bus garage could be located and why the school <br />has not received a letter as they were promised. Planning Commission <br />Chair Scott Pederson stated that a letter will be mailed to the school <br />tomorrow. Discussion was held regarding where a bus garage could be <br />located and in what zone. Discussion was also held regarding whether a <br />city can prohibit uses. Council Member Akerson questioned whether <br />interpretation of the code could be included in the letter. Mr. Pederson <br />stated that the specific question was not related to code interpretation but <br />where could it be located. <br />7. Fire Department Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />7.1. Reauest to Increase Benefit Level <br />Patrick Selter and Larry Oaks were present to discuss the requested <br />increase in benefit level. Patrick Selter stated that the Pequot Lakes Fire <br />Department Relief Association has voted to increase the yearly pension <br />� rate from $2,900 to $3,300.
