PEQUOT LAKES PARK COMMISSION <br /> THURSDAY, JULY 11, 2013 <br /> CITY HALL <br /> Members Present: Commissioners Ettesvold, Nagel, Bruch, and Gibbons <br /> Members Absent: Chair Malecha <br /> Also Present: Sandy Peine, City Clerk; Mike Loven, Public Works <br /> Supervisor; Council Liaison Tyler Gardner; and Mayor Nancy <br /> Adams <br /> 1. Call Meeting to Order <br /> Commissioner Bruch called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. <br /> 2. Consider Agenda <br /> The agenda was approved. <br /> 3. Park Commission Minutes <br /> COMMISSIONER GIBBONS MOVED TO APPROVE THE 6/13/2013 <br /> PARK COMMISSION MINUTES. COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> 5. Trailside Park <br /> • Bike Racks - Mike Loven asked the Commissioners to confirm the <br /> location of the bike racks and the material and shape of the bike <br /> rack pads. After much discussion, the Park Commission indicated <br /> that they would like the bike racks to be located at the Crosswalks <br /> and that the pads should be made of concrete in a rectangular <br /> shape. <br /> COMMISSIONER GIBBONS MOVED TO AUTHORIZE MIKE <br /> LOVEN TO INSTALL THE BIKE RACKS AT THE CROSSWALKS <br /> WITH THE BIKE PADS MADE OF CONCRETE AND IN A <br /> RETANGULAR SHAPE. COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD <br /> SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0, <br /> • Irrigation System — Mike Loven informed the Commission that the <br /> irrigation system on the north end of Trailside Park has been <br /> installed and is working. <br /> • Trailside Park Acquisition UQdate — Clerk Peine stated that she is <br /> still working with the DNR to finalize the City's acquisition of <br /> Trailside Park. <br />
