Park Board Minutes <br /> May 14, 2015 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Mike Loven informed the Commissioners that the benches and a picnic table <br /> have been placed at the dog park. Sheridan and Wes Wilson are working on the <br /> metal dog silhouette signs. <br /> The Park Commission talked about the type of identification sign for the dog <br /> park. The two styles discussed were metal and wooden signs. The <br /> Commissioners requested that this be placed on the June Park Commission <br /> Agenda. <br /> 6. Park Brochure <br /> The Clerk distributed the park brochures to the Commissioners. <br /> 7. Trailside Park Update <br /> Mike Loven explained that the original restroom location has been changed to be <br /> located at the bottom of the hill. Commissioner Ronning questioned how the <br /> location was changed. Mike Loven explained that two Council Members and <br /> Chair Malecha changed the location. Commissioner Ronning asked if the move <br /> would be more costly. Mike Loven explained that more than likely it will be more <br /> expensive as there is now a requirement to have a 2" water line. <br /> Dan Ronning explained that the Lion's Club will consider a donation toward the <br /> restroom when they can see a bid. <br /> Mike Loven stated that the fencing has been ordered. The fence will not be able <br /> to be placed as far from the playground as anticipated due to a guide wire. It was <br /> the consensus of the Commission to have three Commissioners meet with Mike <br /> Loven and decide where to place the fence. <br /> The Clerk informed the Park Commission that the Adams are working with St. <br /> Croix Recreation to create a sign for the park thanking them for the playground. <br /> COMMISSIONER ETTESVOLD MOVED TO LET THE ADAMS ORDER THE <br /> SIGN AS LONG AS THEY HAVE VOLUNTEERED TO PAY FOR IT. <br /> COMMISSIONER BRUCH SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> The Commission decided to have a Ribbon Cutting ceremony when Adams' <br /> family is in town. It was suggested that the ceremony be held during a Saturday <br /> evening before the Band in the Park program. <br /> 8. Bands in the Park Program <br /> The City Clerk distributed the Band in the Park program schedule. She requested <br /> the Commissioners to schedule times during the programs to assist with <br />
