� MONTHLY STAFF REPORT City Clerk's Office January 2011 Meetings Citv Council Meetin�s Januarv 4, 2011. Re�ular Meeting • Swore in newly elected Council Members • Gave permission to the Park Commission to research the concept of a splash park • Accepted the Planning Services with Community Growth at Level 1 � Allocated $40,000 from Fire Department Fund to Capital Outlay for future capital equipment purchases • Called a special Council meeting to discuss police department reorganization • Called a special Council meeting to discuss public works reorganization � Approved a Sanitary Sewer Maintenance and Sewer Emergency Policies • Eliminated the City's no fault insurance • Authorized the formation of a committee to study the Government Drive Project • Moved to continue using WSN as City Engineers • Tabled moving forward on Wildlife Trail pending further research by City Engineer `-- • Annual appointments for 2011 • Official Depositories for 2011 • Official Newspapers for 2011 • Board and Commission appointments • Moved to continue using Paul Sandelin as City's Attorney • Moved to continue with Lakeland Agency for City's Insurance Agency • Moved to call a public hearing of the business subsidy plan • Tabled the Dog Ordinance • Heard comments regarding City Police Department from a citizen Januarv 18. 2011.
