hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this Ordinance. A copy <br /> of this document is on file at the Sibley Township office. <br /> 2. All public or private supplies of water for domestic purposes must meet or exceed <br /> the standards for water quality of the Minnesota Department of Health. Private <br /> wells must be located, constructed, maintained and sealed in accordance with the <br /> Water Well Construction Code of the Minnesota Department of Health. <br /> 3. Nonconforming sewage treatment systems shall be regulated and upgraded in <br /> accordance with Section 95-040 of this Ordinance. <br /> 4. Permits for private sewage treatment systems must be obtained from the Zoning <br /> Administrator prior to construction. <br /> Section 70-100 Home Occupations. <br /> The purpose of this section is to provide a means through the establishment of specific standards <br /> and procedures by which home occupations can be conducted without jeopardizing the health, <br /> safety and general welfare of the surrounding neighborhood. Home Occupations existing as of <br /> the date of enactment of this ordinance are allowed to continue but should notify the Township <br /> Zoning Administrator of their existence. If existing home occupations change the nature of their <br /> business or expand their activity, they must first obtain a Conditional Use Permit. <br /> A. In some zoning districts, customary home occupations may require a Conditional Use <br /> Permit. Such permit may be issued if they meet the following conditions: <br /> 1. Such occupation is carried on in the principal building and may not be conducted <br /> in an accessory building other than a private garage. <br /> 2. Not more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the gross floor area of the residence <br /> or 50%of the gross floor area of a garage or storage building is used for this <br /> purpose. <br /> 3. Only articles made or originating on the premises shall be sold on the premises, <br /> unless such articles are incidental to a permitted commercial service. <br /> 4. No articles for sale shall be displayed so as to be visible from the street. <br /> 5. Not more than two non-residents may be employed by the home occupation. <br /> 6. No mechanical or electrical equipment shall be used if the operation of such <br /> equipment interferes unreasonably with the desired quiet residential environment <br /> of the neighborhood or if the health and safety of the residents is endangered. No <br /> equipment shall be used in the home occupation which will create electrical <br /> interference to surrounding properties. <br /> 7.
