Section 80-100 Signs Permitted in the Residential Districts. <br /> ( The following signs are permitted with the issuance of a sign permit. <br /> \." 1. All signs as permitted in Section 80-090; <br /> 2. All allowed freestanding signs shall have a maximum height limit of six (6) feet <br /> and shall have a setback of fifteen (15) feet from any public right-of-way; <br /> 3. Signs must not be internally or externally lighted but may be of reflective <br /> material; <br /> 4. One subdivision identification sign per street frontage, neighborhood, subdivision <br /> or development, not to exceed thirty-two (32) sq.ft. in sign area in each location; <br /> 5. One identification sign per entrance to apartment or condominium complex, not to <br /> exceed thirty-two (32) sq.ft. in sign area; <br /> 6. Permitted, non-residential uses, including churches, schools, clinics, etc., one <br /> freestanding sign not to exceed twenty-four (24) sq.ft. in sign area, one of this size <br /> per street frontage. One wall sign of twenty-four (24) sq.ft. is also allowed per <br /> street frontage. This also applies to legal, nonconforming uses in residential <br /> districts; and <br /> 7. Home occupations—one free-standing sign not to exceed four (4) sq.ft. The sign <br /> must be located in the front yard. <br /> Section 80-110 Signs Permitted in the Agricultural and Forestry Districts. <br /> The following signs are permitted with the issuance of a sign permit. <br /> 1. All signs as permitted in Section 80-100; <br /> 2. Freestanding—one sign not to exceed twelve (12) feet in height or larger than <br /> 1•" thirty-two (32) square feet; <br /> 3. Wall- one sign not to exceed fifty (50) square feet; and <br /> 4. Signs may be of a reflective material but shall not be internally or externally <br /> lighted. <br /> Section 80-120 Signs Permitted in the Commercial and Industrial Districts. <br /> The following signs are permitted with the issuance of a sign permit: <br /> A. On-premise signs: <br /> 1. Single or Double Occupancy Business Signs. The total sign area for the <br /> subject property may not exceed fifteen (15) percent of the total front building <br /> facade except both front and side facades may be counted on a corner lot. Signs <br /> chosen to comprise the total sign area shall be consistent with the following <br /> provisions: <br /> a. Freestanding-Not more than one (1) sign. Sign area may not exceed <br /> sixty-four (64) square feet with a maximum height of twelve (12) feet <br /> above grade. Sign shall not be located in or over right-of-way and shall <br /> maintain a setback of 10 feet from side property lines. On corner lots, the <br /> clearview zone must be established and adhered to; <br /> b. Wall, Canopy or Marquee - Not more than one wall, canopy or marquee <br /> sign per building.
