—....iECTION 1.84: WATER-ORIENTED ACCESSORY STRUCTURE OR FACILITY <br /> A small,above ground building or other improvement,except stairways,fences,docks,and retaining walls,which,because of <br /> the relationship of its use to a surface water feature, reasonably needs to be located closer to public waters than the normal <br /> structure setback. Examples of such structures and facilities include boathouses,gazebos,screen houses,fish houses,pump <br /> houses,and detached decks. <br /> SECTION 1.85:WETLAND <br /> A surface water feature classified as a wetland in the United States Fish and Wildlife Service Circular No. 39(1971 edition). <br /> SECTION 1.86:YARD <br /> A required open space unoccupied and unobstructed by any structure from 30 inches above the ground level of the graded lot <br /> upward, provided, however, that fences, signs, utility poles, lawn lights, antenna, and related minor equipment may be <br /> permitted in any yard provided that they do not create a traffic safety hazard. <br /> SECTION 1.87:YARD,FRONT <br /> A yard extending between side lot lines across the front of a lot at the side nearest the street or a body of water. In any required <br /> front yard,no fence or wall shall be permitted which materially impedes vision across such yard above the height of 30 inches, <br /> and no hedge or other vegetation on corner lots shall be permitted which materially impedes vision across such yard. <br /> SECTION 1.88:YARD,SIDE <br /> A yard extending from the real line of the required front yard to the rear lot line. <br /> SECTION 1.89:YARD,REAR <br /> A yard extending across the rear of the lot between inner side yard lines. <br /> SECTION 1.90:ZONING OFFICER <br /> The City Clerk serving as the Zoning Officer,as appointed by the City Council. <br /> ARTICLE II <br /> ZONING DISTRICTS AND GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> SECTION 2.10: <br /> The City of Pequot Lakes is hereby divided into zoning districts as shown on the official Zoning District Map dated <br /> ,and filed in the office of the City Clerk. The map and all explanatory matter thereon are hereby made a part of <br /> this ordinance.
