FIVE MINUTE RECESS. <br /> OPEN FORUM: None. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: None. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> 7.a. Noyes Insurance Agency Sign Permit Concept Plan. The Sign Ordinance only <br /> allowed one sign per business. The Ordinance was modified to allow more than one <br /> sign if the owner submitted a concept plan that was approved by the Commission. <br /> Mr. Noyes requests two signs per the attached plan. <br /> A motion was made by Karl Moon, seconded by Joe Dotty,to approve the concept plan. <br /> All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> 7.b. Evergreen Re-plat discussion. Mr. Marohn explained that Mr. Arvig would like to <br /> place single-family homes in place of the duplexes. There are no technical problems, Mr. <br /> Arvig asked for input. The Commission would like to see a copy of the whole plat, as <br /> revised, not just the portions to be re-platted. The Commission needs to see the design <br /> for the primary and alternate drainfield as there is a very steep bank. The concept is <br /> generally acceptable. <br /> 7.c. Brawley Metes and Bounds Subdivision. Mr. Marohn explained that the Brawley's <br /> wish to subdivide their residential property into two separate tracts. The proposed <br /> subdivision does create a non-conformity by placing the existing shed on Tract A within <br /> the side-yard setback. <br /> A motion was made by Karl Moon, seconded by Cheri Seils, to approve the metes and <br /> bounds subdivision, subject to the following condition: <br /> 1. The existing shed on Tract A be removed or moved outside of the setback. <br /> All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> PLANNING AND ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br /> Mr. Marohn briefly discussed the September Permits and Correspondence. Under the <br /> Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions, he stated that there had been some movement <br /> of vehicles at the David Swenson property and that the Chris Greer issue had been <br /> resolved. There were no questions on any of the other violations/enforcement actions. <br /> BUSINESS SIGN DISCUSSION: <br /> Jennifer Shillcox of Community Growth Consultants, facilitated a discussion with the <br /> Commission members and business owners. They discussed the issues and visions from <br /> the August 21, 2003 meeting, a copy of which is attached. Ms. Shillcox's notes from this <br /> meeting will be attached and made a part of these Minutes. <br />
