Council Member Ryan stated that he would <br />rather see each employee be paid their existing full time wage rather than <br />a wage reflective of the Office Manager's wage. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED THAT JEANYNE ALDERSON <br />AND DAWN BITTNER RETURN TO FULL TIME STATUS ON A <br />TEMPORARY BASIS IN ORDER TO ASSIST IN THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT BY PROVIDING CLERICAL COVERAGE AND THAT <br />THEY EACH BE PAID THEIR EXISTING WAGE. COUNCIL MEMBER <br />RYAN SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO AMEND THE MOTION TO <br />STATE THAT THE DIFFERENCE IN THE CITY'S HSA CONTRIBUTION <br />BE PAID BY TAKING THE DIFFERENCE IN AN HSA THAT A FULL <br />TIME EMPLOYEE WOULD BE ENTITLED AND TO AND FUND IT <br />EVENLY OVER 11 MONTHS FOR AS MANY MONTHS AS THEY ARE <br />WORKING. COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD SECONDED THE MOTION. <br />MOTION CARRIED 5-0. <br />MOTION AS AMENDED CARRIED 4-1. MAYOR ADAMS OPPOSED. <br />`-- 9 Water/Wastewater Monthly Report <br />Report received by Council. <br />10. Maintenance Department <br />11.1. Wildlife Trail <br />Council Member Akerson stated that he received a call from Wendy Ulrich <br />who informed him that she was vehemently opposed to the assessment <br />project. Tim Houle stated that he had been asked to research the statute <br />regarding the special assessment process; specifically whether private <br />citizens can get a quote on a project that may be an assessment project. <br />Tim Houle indicated that City's are required to follow the statute and there <br />are specific processes and procedures required to get public bids. <br />The Council discussed the probability of the project proceeding and <br />consented to discontinue the project. <br />COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED TO RESCIND RESOLUTION 10-33, <br />ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS <br />FOR THE WILDLIFE TRAIL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.
