town. Martinson suggested that the only sign permissible would be a blue and
white informational sign and to make application through MNDOT.
NEW BUSINESS
F. Martinson presented the Commission with a map of the Trailside Park. It
was marked where trees would be planted. Mr. Don Snyder will be donating
the trees. A suggestion was made by J. Thompson to be very careful with the
amount of trees planted as in the future you would not be able to see the
building from the highway.
T. Saccoman voiced concern about the Antique Snowmobile Run. It was
suggested that the snowmobiles move north of County Road 11. Saccoman
suggested planting a few trees on the northeast corner of Government Drive
and E. Sibley. The trees that are planted there now are being destroyed by
snowmobiles and planting the larger trees would protect them from being run
over.
MOTION BY T. SACCOMAN AND SECONDED BY J. THOMPSON
THAT THE MEETING BE ADJOURNED AT 7:20p.m. MOTION
CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
G. Welu F. Martinson
Secretary Chairman
