• <br /> PEQUOT LAKES <br /> PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> JUNE 20, 2000 <br /> The public hearing of the Pequot Lakes Planning & Zoning <br /> Commission was called to order by Chairman F. Martinson at 6:30 p.m. in the <br /> Council Chambers of Pequot Lakes City Hall. Present was F. Martinson, T. <br /> Saccoman, J. Thompson & G. Welu. Absent was C. Clarke. <br /> MOTION BY G. WELU AND SECONDED BY J. THOMPSON THAT <br /> THE MINUTES OF THE MAY 16, 2000 MEETING BE APPROVED. <br /> MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br /> VARIANCE APPLICATION— BRUCE KUEHN <br /> Mr. Bruce Kuehn is requesting a variance to replace an existing garage with a <br /> 14'x24' garage. The side yard set back cannot be met due to the existing <br /> placement of the garage. <br /> The property is legally described as follows: Part of Lots 8, & 9, Block 2, <br /> Pequot Shady Shores. <br /> The Commission viewed photographs taken of the property, the existing <br /> garage and the property abutting Mr. Kuehn's. After a few questions, F. <br /> Martinson asked if any neighbors contacted City Hall regarding the variance <br /> for the garage. It was explained that a neighbor abutting the property had <br /> called the City. Her concern was to make sure Mr. Kuehn did not build on her <br /> property. <br /> MOTION BY J. THOMPSON AND SECONDED BY T. SACCOMAN <br /> THAT THE VARIANCE FOR MR. BRUCE KUEHN BE APPROVED. <br /> MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br />
