It was decided that the next step to take would be for the city engineer to <br /> make a draft of access locations and submit them to the Planning <br /> Commissions. <br /> Martinson reassured the audience they would be notified of all meetings <br /> regarding the roads. <br /> VARIANCE APPLICATION— BRIAN WALLIN <br /> Mr. Wallin requested a variance to construct a home on the property <br /> described as: Part of Lots 1 & 2, Block 1, Cole's Plat. The zoning ordinance <br /> requires a lot be a minimum of 100' to be able to build on. The above <br /> property is only 85'. After much discussion it was decided that the variance <br /> be approved and a public hearing would not be necessary due to the fact there <br /> were 2 previous public hearings and variance approvals for the property, <br /> which have expired. <br /> CITI LIGHTS PARKING/BLACKTOPPING <br /> Present was Dennis Peterson, owner of Citi Lights. Peterson is constructing <br /> an office building on Olson Street and was asked to attend the meeting to <br /> speak with the Commission regarding the parking availability and <br /> blacktopping in front of the building. <br /> Peterson reassured the Commission there was ample space for the required <br /> parking. He asked that the Commission allow him to blacktop a majority of <br /> the area in front of the building. There was conversation regarding the <br /> landscaping and storm water management. <br /> The Commission agreed the blacktopping be done as long as the landscaping <br /> requirements were met. <br /> ZONING ORDINANCE 163 — SECTION 1.44 & 1.45 AND <br /> SECTION 9.10 <br /> Sections 1.44 & 1.45 of the zoning ordinance were discusses due to the fact <br /> they have come to mean the same thing. <br /> Also discussed was redefining Foundation, Section 9.10 to disallow skirting. <br />
