FRONTAGE/BACKAGE ROAD STUDY <br /> The Commission reviewed a draft of the Highway 371 Frontage/Backage Roads presented <br /> by Tim Houle of Widseth, Smith&Nolting. <br /> Martinson explained the possibilities of a joint meeting with Sibley Township Planning& <br /> Zoning in January of 2001. <br /> PARTNERS 56472 <br /> There was nothing to report. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> POLICY FOR ZONING PERMIT EXTENSIONS <br /> There was discussion regarding zoning permit extensions. The current Zoning Ordinance <br /> does not include extensions. The Commission recommended that Zoning Ordinance 163, <br /> Section 13.10: Fees, Charges and Expenses be amended as follows: <br /> A building/zoning permit will expire one year from date of issuance. A one-year extension <br /> may be applied for if the construction is not completed after expiration of original permit. <br /> Should the extension expire,the applicant shall apply for a new building/zoning permit and <br /> pay the original cost. <br /> MOTION BY G. WELU AND SECONDED BY T. SACCOMAN THAT SECTION <br /> 13.10 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE BE AMENDED AND PRESENTED TO THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br /> ZONING ORDINANCE 163, SECTION 1.44, 1.45 AND 9.10 <br /> Sections 1.44: Manufactured Home, 1.45: Modular Home were discussed due to the fact <br /> they have come to mean the same. The commission chose to combine the two sections. <br /> Also discussed was Section 9.10: Foundations. The Commission added"no skirting"to <br /> this section. <br /> MOTION BY J. THOMPSON AND SECONDED BY T. SACCOMAN THAT <br /> SECTIONS 1.44, 1.45 AND 9.10 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE BE AMENDED <br /> AND PRESENTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL.
