Joni Tulenchik was present to discuss the Orderly Annexation with the township of property she is connected with along the 371 corridor. The Board could not take any action at this time because we had not received the information from the City of Pequot Lakes. Merlin and Jill Carlson have petitioned the City of Pequot Lakes to annex their property on Tree Farm Road. Residents along 168 next to the McBryde property have issued complaints stating that the septic system is not in working order due to X-Cell digging in that immediate area. Cathy will call X-Cell Energy to see if they have a record of complications while digging in that immediate area of the septic system on McBryde property. Dave Sjoblad made a motion to add the volunteer endorsement to our Insurance Policy. The endorsement would cost$20.00 per year. Dorothy Marchwick seconded the motion,all ayes,motion carried. David Sjoblad made a motion to sign the fire contract with the City of Pequot Lakes. Dorothy Marchwick seconded the motion,all ayes,motion carried. Two bids were given on the proposed sign for the township. One from Colleen Fischer for$460.00, another from Sign Spot for$2519.79. A motion was made by David Sjoblad to accept the bid from Colleen Fischer with sign board and use of the 5 x 6 posts. Motion seconded by Dorothy Marchwick,all ayes, motion carried. Don Nelson has informed the Board that we have Wormwood in the township,which is a noxious weed. Cathy will call CWC to find out how to eradicate said weed. Motion by Dave Sjoblad to transfer$11,115.35 into the Building fund to balance and eliminate. Motion seconded by Dorothy Marchwick,all ayes,motion carried. Cathy also will contact Mr.Rudlang to see when he will be able to begin the fall mowing of the township roads. City of Pequot Lakes presented a contract which they have with Breezy Point on sharing road equipment. The possibility of doing so for Sibley Township was briefly discussed. Further work will have to be done on this contract at a later date. Mike Loven requested that they repair their portion of Gravdahl Road behind Scandia North,while doing so they would crown Gravdahl Road at their expense. Motion Made by David Sjoblad to grant permission to the City of Pequot Lakes to repair Gravdahl Road at their expense,seconded by Dorothy Marchwich,all ayes,motion carried. Correspondence was read. A motion by David Sjoblad to transfer$11,729.92 to pay bills,motion seconded by Dorothy Marchwick, all ayes,motion carried.
