Ms. Yablonsky would need a permit to <br /> operate parcel as a commercial venture, but there is no mechanism in <br /> place to permit. Ms. Yablonsky stated that operation would be from May <br /> through September and that she would be very particular regarding the <br /> artisans. There would only be fine arts, no crafters. The artisans would <br /> provide their own white tents and they would be taken down after each <br /> weekend. Mr. Marohn was directed to re-write the ordinance to approve <br /> vendors and submit at next meeting. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: None. <br /> JOHN DERKSEN ARRIVED AT 7:20 p.m. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> A. Charles Mackey, request for a metes and bounds subdivision: <br /> Mr. Mackey, 408 Douglas Drive, Buffalo, MN 55313 was present. Mr. Marohn <br /> stated that the subdivision met all the guidelines. He recommended the metes and bounds <br /> subdivision;however,the walkway would need to be removed as it encroaches the lot <br /> line and creates a non-conformity. The trailer would have to be removed from the <br /> setback. <br /> Mr. Mackey stated he would like to remodel the trailer and fix the foundation. <br /> There would be ample area to move the trailer onto Tract B. The trailer, as a non- <br /> conforming structure, could not be remodeled and the foundation fixed where it is. It <br /> would have to be moved. It could be repaired, internally maintained, but not enlarged. <br /> A Motion was made by Karl Moon, seconded by John Derksen,that the metes and <br /> bounds subdivision be approved, with the following condition: <br /> 1. The sidewalk be removed within 10 feet of the setback. <br /> RECESS —short. <br /> B. Area Planners Meeting: Mr. Marohn informed the Commission that <br /> there would be a TENTATIVE Area Planners Peer Education meeting <br /> on October 26 at the Nisswa Community Center. More information to <br /> follow. <br /> C. Ordinance/Zoning Map Updating: Mr. Marohn explained this portion <br /> of this Staff Report. It was concluded that#12 should be added: <br /> Shoreline Commercial. After much discussion, it was agreed that the <br /> Transition Zone should remain. Forest and Agriculture could be <br /> combined, but could be simplified with performance standards. <br /> D.
