MINUTES <br /> PEQUOT LAKES REGULAR PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br /> SEPTEMBER 19, 2002 <br /> PRESENT: Bill Habein, Marty Nelson, Joe Dotty, Cheri Sells, Craig Nagel, Karl Moon, <br /> and Barb Sjoblad. <br /> ZONING ADMINISTRATOR: Charles Marohn. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Craig Nagel, Commission Chairperson, at 6:30 p. m. <br /> APPLICANT: Joni Tulenchik <br /> Applicant requests approval of Final Plat of Branches. <br /> Mr. Marohn explained his Staff Report and pointed out that the City Council had <br /> approved the Preliminary Plat. He recommended approval of the Final Plat of Branches <br /> with 6 conditions. <br /> Kevin McCormick, Landecker and Associates, was present representing the Tulenchiks. <br /> Mr. McCormick indicated that the Tulenchiks accept the conditions and the staff <br /> recommendations. <br /> A motion was made by Karl Moon, seconded by Cheri Sells, to approve the Final Plat of <br /> Branches with the following conditions that must be met prior to the City signing the <br /> final platting documents: <br /> 1. The applicant shall meet with the DNR and City officials to present a design, <br /> acceptable to the DNR, to connect the development to the Paul Bunyan Trail <br /> using Outlot A. <br /> 2. The applicant shall complete the DNR approved trail improvements to the <br /> satisfaction of the DNR or 200% of the estimated cost of making the trail <br /> improvement shall be escrowed with the City prior to City officials signing the <br /> final plat documents. <br /> 3. The applicant shall complete the proposed road improvements to the satisfaction <br /> of the City Engineer or 125% of the estimated cost of making the road <br /> improvements shall be escrowed with the City prior to City officials signing the <br /> final plat documents. <br /> 4. There shall be no tree harvesting outside of the right-of-way. <br /> 5. Final Plat approval is subject to City Attorney verification to verify that all parties <br /> with an interest in the property are shown as signers of the document. <br /> 6. The final plat must be completed, signed and filed within 12 months of this <br /> approval or the approval becomes void. <br />
