A Committee has been formed to meet with prospective buyers of the Industrial Park <br /> property. Tom Woog volunteered to serve on the committee and Tom Adams <br /> volunteered to be the alternate. The other Commission members agreed to attend as <br /> needed. <br /> Liaisons to Council: <br /> City Council members will be attending Planning Commission meetings on a regular <br /> basis and Commission members should attend Council meetings. A motion was made by <br /> Karl Moon, seconded by John Derksen, to approve the schedule to attend Council <br /> meetings. All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> Semi-trailers: <br /> Staff received a complaint regarding the number of semi-trailers parked in the <br /> commercial district. Trailers are not addressed in the ordinance. Staff did not know if <br /> they had current licenses. If they are used for storage,they are a non-permitted accessory <br /> structure. Staff was directed to write a letter to the property owner and request them to <br /> remove the trailers. <br /> GTS Workshops: <br /> Tom Adams requested registration for the June 2 Beyond the Basics Workshop. No other <br /> Commission members wished to attend and it was suggested to offer the Workshops to <br /> the Council. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> A motion was made by Karl Moon, seconded by Tom Adams,to approve the February <br /> Special Meeting minutes. All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> A motion was made by Karl Moon, seconded by Marty Nelson, to approve the March <br /> Meeting minutes. All members voted"aye". Motion carried. <br /> P &Z ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br /> Ms. Bittner reported on the number of permits issued in March and the correspondence. <br /> Potential Violations/Enforcement Actions: <br /> David Swenson: The vehicles have been removed. Only the pontoon remains. Staff will <br /> contact Mr. Swenson regarding the refuse in his yard. <br /> Roger Rudbeck: Mr. Marohn reported that the City cannot put a lien on his property. <br /> The City would need to take the matter to Conciliation Court and should have no problem <br /> prevailing. An Order would be issued and the City would recoup the monies, plus <br /> interest. A motion was made by Tom Adams, seconded by Karl Moon,to request the <br /> City Council to take this matter to Conciliation Court. All members voted"aye". Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Andrew Boldt: Mr. Marohn reported that Staff had met with Mr. Schaefer and he is not <br /> interested in selling an property to Mr. Boldt. Mr. Schaefer has the lot for sale and <br />
