It is an allowed use and would be an over-the-counter permit.
However, Staff has recognized several items that require further discussion. He also
explained that Mr. Babinski is in violation with his barbed wire fence next to the school
and that City Staff has been discussing options and negotiating items with Mr. Babinski.
Mr. Marohn stated that these issues will not be resolved prior to the next Council
meeting. It was suggested that Staff contact the County Solid Waste Department.
MARK HALLAN ARRIVED at 7:10 p.m.
The ditch next to the ball field was filled to provide parking and water also runs toward
Marshall Street from this parking lot.
Discussion of new ordinance language:
Mr. Marohn explained that the draft ordinance was not yet available. The
Comprehensive Plan needs to be adopted by the Council first. A review committee could
be formed and could take possibly two months. A public hearing is required. Mr. Moon
and Mr. Hallan will meet with Mr. Marohn on April 22 at WSN at 7:30 a.m.to review the
draft ordinance.
Stone Creek Sign Concept:
Stone Creek presented a plan to place a sign on the roof at Country Corner. The other
signs are either on the walls or in windows. The roof sign does not fit with the other
signage on the building or the nature and character of the building. At one time, Mr.
Lindquist was going to put a sign on the corner listing all tenants. It was decided that
they should put their sign on the dormer or a tenant sign.
Industrial Park Committee:
