PEQUOT LAKES EDC PURPOSE STATEMENT: <br /> (Proposed by BLADC) <br /> The Pequot Lakes EDC provides Pequot Lakes with leadership and <br /> direction on economic development issues impacting the city and <br /> surrounding area. The EDC will work to encourage the continuing <br /> commercial and industrial growth of the Pequot Lakes economy through <br /> the following measures: <br /> • Expansion and maintenance of the business park, <br /> • Establishment and maintenance of a revolving loan fund, <br /> • lndentifying future community economic development needs and <br /> market trends, <br /> • Developing a network of business leaders to help facilitate <br /> cooperation among current business owners and serve as a liaison <br /> with prospective incoming businesses <br />
