She stated that <br />the challenge is that there are no funds to replace the light fixtures. <br />Mark Jurchen, Chamber of Commerce Board Member, stated that he <br />would like to look at the cost of repair and maintaining the lights on the <br />bobber tower. <br />Council Member Malecha suggested contacting the State Historical <br />Society for a grant. <br />10.1. Enqineerinq Services for 2011 <br />COUNCIL MEMBER SJOBLAD MOVED TO CONTINUE WORKING <br />WITH WSN FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES IN 2011. COUNCIL <br />MEMBER MALECHA SECONDED THE MOTION. MOTION CARRIED 5- <br />0. <br />10.2.A. Wildlife Trail Status Update <br />Tim Houle updated the Council on the status of the project. He noted that <br />� a petition was received to make Wildlife Trail a city street and to have it <br />paved. Mr. Houle stated that the next step is for the Council to decide <br />whether or not to proceed with the process. The Clerk handed out an <br />updated map showing that 9 of the 16 parcels are opposed to the project <br />and 4 of the 16 parcels are in favor of the project. <br />Del Anderson — Wildlife Trail, expressed his frustration in that the City <br />does not know the actual amount of the project because the bids have not <br />been received. The Engineer stated that the City is following statutory <br />guidelines for the special assessment statute. <br />Brian Koslofsky — Wildlife Trail — thanked the Council and requested the <br />Council to continue on with the improvements. He stated that there are <br />over 50% of the residents are in favor of the project. <br />10.2.B. Wildlife Trail — Enqineerinp Proposal <br />Council Member Sjoblad suggested that the property owners get the bids <br />and questioned if the City could accept their bids and bypass the City <br />Engineering process. <br />Council Member Sjoblad questioned if a licensed engineer must be used <br />� for an assessment project.
